Baja Clay Salt Dish
HANDMADE IN BAJA
A perfect little salt dish or catch-all for food prep, small jewelry or coins.
These pieces are handmade by a group of women in a small town in the mountains of southern Baja, Mexico. The clay is locally harvested and prepared; then each piece is shaped by hand and ground fired. The ground firing process creates unique markings and colors, resulting in clay that is mostly black, with undertones of beige and gold flecks. Every bowl is slightly different, and each one is signed by the maker on the bottom.
- Regular: 3" D x 1.5" H
- Tiny: 2" D x 1" H
CARE: Please handle these pieces with care. Rinse under running water and gently wash with soap, as needed. Air dry on a clean towel. Take special care with the palm leaves, as they can be damaged or stained by dark colored liquids.
