Enamelware Espresso Cup

Adorable espresso cup(s) made of durable enamelware featuring "La Calavera" (the skull) - a quintessential symbol in México representing Dia de los Muertos which honors the deceased with festivals and lively celebrations. This multi-day custom in México combines indigenous Aztec rituals with Spanish traditions.

Designed and handcrafted by a woman-owned studio in Mexico City, the inside of each cup depicts the phrase "Muero por un cafe", or "I am dying for a coffee". These playful cups perfectly embody the spirit of Dia de los Muertos: to celebrate the dead with beauty and humor.

Porcelain enamelware has been used in Mexico for decades. It is very durable and easy to clean. Excellent for camping and other fun adventures!
